Terrain Pwned

August 10th, 2009

While trying to explore all of Eastern Kingdoms today, I got pwned by a terrain glitch in World of Warcraft.

As you can see from the picture above, I was stuck in a hole that I could not jump out of. I had to wait for a GM to help me out of there. I waited there for about two hours. I don’t have much else to say about this, but I felt that this needed to be seen on the blog.

While waiting for a GM, NFreak and I watched “Land of the Lost” with Will Ferrell. He was there. Seriously, I know him. We are best buds. The movie was hilarious, and everyone out there should watch it sometime.

Animal Crossing: City Folk

February 27th, 2009

A few months ago NFreak bought the game Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii. It’s cover may make it look like a game for pre-schoolers, but it is so entertaining and addicting it is fun for people of all ages. The object of the game is to make your house and town the best it can be. There is always something to do or buy. There are also neighbors that are always looking for somebody to talk to. They sometimes even ask you for favors, and they usually give you something in return.

There are many ways to make money including fishing, collecting shells, digging up gyroids or fossils, hitting the money rock, selling items, picking fruits off of trees, and so many more. You can upgrade Tom Nook’s shop by buying certain amounts of things from his store.

You can make your house better by adding “special” items, or having items that are included in a set, also in some months there are themes that will award your house more points from the Housing Academy. You can also upgrade the size of your house by paying back your mortgage to Tom Nook. You start with a really small one story 4 x4 house, but by the end you can have a three story house with 16 x 16 squares in it.

Once your house is completely payed off you can work on making your town a much better place. You can do this by donating money in town hall. You can even get a fountain for your town! There is no end to the variety of possibilities in this game. It is a very addicting and fun game for everyone!

The Arena Moderation Team

February 16th, 2009

Picking an Arena moderator may seem like an easy job, but there is actually a lot of thought that goes into the process. Realize that moderators have the power to destroy the game, so we put a lot of trust into the users that we pick for the job. Some qualifications for the job are: (1) to have been an active member for quite some time, (2) have no previous cheating accusations, (3) to know the rules of the game, and (4) to be able to treat people fairly and deal with problems in an appropriate manner.

This is my first post to the blog. I have been coming to NFreak.net for over a year now. I have been a very active member ever since. I am always chatting in the chat room, or trying to be in first place on Arena. I have recently been very actively drawing images for the Land of Camelot. It is a tedious, sometimes overwhelming job, but it is very rewarding to see my images all over the site.

I will try to add more to this blog, as NFreak has made me an administrator. This is not a very entertaining post, but it is informative and useful for those wishing to apply for the MOD team on Arena. I will keep my other blog topics both entertaining and interesting.
